50 years ago the average UK house price was just £4640, a gallon of petrol cost 6 shillings 2 pence, Monty Python’s Flying Circus was shown for the first time, and John Davies Framing came into being. So whilst Monty Python’s first episode was paying comedy homage to celebrated artists by setting them in a bicycle race along the A272, John Davies Framing began paying homage by creating beautiful frames for their works.

During their 50 years of operation, the company has taken 48063 orders, many for multiple frames meaning that well over 150,000 frames have been produced, along with nearly 50,000 computer mock up proposals. The company moves ever onwards and upwards with a newly refurbished website, an upcoming refresh of the frames on display in the showroom and a number of exciting projects in the pipeline.
